Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive method that uses low-intensity shockwaves to treat erectile dysfunction. The treatment is primarily aimed at problems of vascular origin, Induration Penis Plastics, and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CPPS). Many scientific studies show good effects of focused shockwave therapy for these indications.  

Shockwave therapy does not work with the same good effect in cases of nerve damage after surgery, injuries to the lower back, after surgery and radiation therapy of the prostate, or untreated testosterone deficiency. In some cases, improvement has been shown, but it requires many more treatments and cannot be guaranteed.

Payment can be made via Swish, card, Klarna, or invoice. No referral is needed.

In some cases, patients have had shockwave therapy reimbursed in full or in part through their insurance company, for example via private health insurance. Whether reimbursement is possible depends on the terms of the policy and a medical assessment.

We recommend that you contact your insurance provider in advance to confirm what applies in your specific case. If needed, we can assist with medical documentation to support your discussion with the insurance company.

You do not have a right to reimbursement if the treatment effect fails.

It is important that you have good personal hygiene when you come to us, both during the first visit and at each treatment session.
